Kissing Politics

Why are top level government officials kissing each other? Is the kissing a requirement or a perk of nationally held offices? Does the kissing establish or display a special relationship?

Sebelius is, of course, Barack Obama's health secretary nominee.

Do the men believe it is their prerogative to kiss any female that they have assigned or appointed to an important position? Is it necessary to kiss the women to show they are sweet, loved and appreciated? Do the men believe that the women expect to be kissed?

Are the females inviting and encouraging these advances of endearment and affection ... or just being submissive out of appreciation? Are they kissing-up to keep their jobs, or to advance their careers? Do they expect to be kissed, and become irritated and pouty if not kissed? Is their submissive nature indicative of their character in handling the affairs of their office?

For many reasons, it could be bothersome to some people to constantly see top level government officials publicly kissing each other. It raises implications that are problematic when carried on in the civilian work force.

Should the Boss be kissing his secretary? Should the male school principle be kissing the female teachers? Should everyone just be kissing everybody?

Management, employees and associates kissing each other ...
... discouraged or not allowed in work force ... subject to sexual harassment or discrimination in work places and in public schools.

WORK and work ethics need to replace the kissing and hugging considering the state of the nation.
