When Americans fought The American Revolutionary War (1775-1783), also known as the American War of Independence, they severed ties and alligence to foreign rule and regulations, and pledged their loyalty to this country and its people.

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands: one Nation under God, indivisible, With Liberty and Justice for all."

Many in the USA today, have not given that heart-felt pledge to this country, and have no intentions of doing so. Their loyalties and allegiances lie elsewhere, and are not in the best interests of this country and its' traditional values and unique culture.

However, because Western societies act as very powerful magnets for immigration and because we have not acted to defend ourselves against this onslaught, the result will be displacement of the founding populations, not only in the United States, but also in Australia, Canada, and throughout the European Union. If present trends in the United States continue, the founding European-derived population is set to become a minority by the middle of this century; in the British Isles the submergence date is just two generations later.

Indeed, Mexican activists loudly advertise their goal of reconquering the Southwestern United States via immigration from Mexico—-an event that would be rather obviously in the ethnic interests of Mexicans but undoubtedly would compromise the interests of European-Americans. Source ...

Samuel P. Huntington, political scientist and author, known for his Clash of Civilizations theory, has described multiculturalism as "basically an anti-Western ideology." According to Huntington, multiculturalism has "attacked the identification of the United States with Western civilization, denied the existence of a common American culture, and promoted racial, ethnic, and other subnational cultural identities and groupings."

" ... multiculturalists are "very often ethnocentric separatists who see little in the Western heritage other than Western crimes." Their "mood is one of divesting Americans of their sinful European inheritance and seeking redemptive infusions from non-Western cultures."

Lawrence Auster, another conservative critic of multiculturalism, has argued that although multiculturalism is meant to promote the value of each culture, the reality is that its real tendency has been to undermine America's traditional majority culture. In Auster's view, multiculturalism has tended to "downgrade our national culture while raising the status and power of other cultures."

He writes: The formal meaning of “diversity,” “cultural equity,” “gorgeous mosaic” and so on is a society in which many different cultures will live together in perfect equality and peace (i.e., a society that has never existed and never will exist); the real meaning of these slogans is that the power of the existing mainstream society to determine its own destiny shall be drastically reduced while the power of other groups, formerly marginal or external to that society, will be increased. In other words the U.S. must, in the name of diversity, abandon its particularity while the very groups making that demand shall hold on to theirs. - The Path to National Suicide

The goal of abolishing the white race is on its face so desirable that some may find it hard to believe that it could incur any opposition other than from committed white supremacists.

Typical of books of this type, it refuses to look at the growing non-white racial privledge. At the university setting, every other ethnic groups enjoys classes which explicity support their cultural biases and whitewash their histories. This used to be true of Euroamericans not that long ago, but now "whitewashing" is the province of non-whites. Most great civilzations practiced "supremicist" behaviors for their dominant groups (read older collections of primary documents from east Asia, the Middle East and Egypt sometime--and you will be shocked to see what is left out of the new "multicultural" history books.) Also, anyone non-white can freely use racial slurs and hate crimes are treated far less seriously when non-whites commit them.

Customer Review: 1. This is a magnificent history of the United States that blends political, social and economic history.
2. I have been around the block enough to know how this argument works. Conservatives tell America's story warts and all, while liberals tell America's story as all warts. Liberals then accuse conservatives of being slanted, not because conservatives exclude the bad parts, but because they include the good parts, as well. And for all the anti-Americanism out there, telling all the bad and all the good of America does not balance the scale. If one judges a nation not on the amount of problems it has or the amount of injustice within that country, but on the willingness of that country to face such injustice head on and deal with it, then the U.S. deserves its pre-eminent place among world societies. For all the griping on the left, I am convinced that many on that side of the spectrum know this as well.
