Black Caucus Charmed by Dictators

Members of the Congressional Black Caucus returned from a trip to Cuba

``We just decided the time was now,’’ said Congresswoman Barbara Lee, a Democrat from California. ``And we decided to put together this visit, to do this immediately because we think that we have this window of opportunity now with a president (Barack Obama) who is seeking a new way in the world, a new direction.

[Strike quickly, hit the freedom loving Americans before they can unify and mount any major opposition.]

``And we are in the process of reshaping our image and our role in the world. And where better to do that than 90 miles off the shores of America.’’

[How about in the United States with the citizen peoples of America?]

The members met with Fidel and Raul Castro and were clearly charmed.

[The fox's cleverest hunting technique is "charming." Of course, the prey could also be delusional and/or suicidal.]

Congressman Emanuel Cleaver of Missouri said U.S. officials ``have deluded ourselves into believing that if we isolated Cuba, the government of Fidel Castro would collapse. Fifty years since we made that declaration, we are the only nation that is isolated.’’

[America is (currently) a nation of "Constitutionally protected" peoples (from the rest of the world) and part of a large continent of free peoples. Hardly isolated.]

The members said they were not trying to negotiate with Cuban officials but would work to shape U.S. policy to bring Americans closer to the Cuban people.

[So they collapse our nation by ignoring the Constitution and Declaration of Independence, and align and reshape American policies to adapt to Communist Socialist Totalitarianism Dictator societies and policies - and their "Share the Wealth" programs.]
