Patriot's Dilemma

Patriots Dilemma - The takeover and propaganda of main stream news

The patriots fully appreciated the vital role played by newspapers in forwarding the revolutionary movement.

The fact that the colonial press was in the hands of the patriots from the outset placed the opposition at a serious disadvantage.

The American Revolution was one of the first great popular movements in which the newspapers played a vital part: "The PRESS hath never done greater Service since its first Invention," exclaimed an American patriot. The newspapers kept the people in alarm for their liberties.

... by dint of reading newspapers, even "the peasants and their housewives in every part of the land were able to dispute on politics and positively to determine upon our liberties."

The opposition lamented that the people heard nothing but what "their ringleaders chuse they should hear."

Today, the control of news media has been taken over by those that advocate facist communistic ideology with socialistic agendas. You hear what the ringleaders choose you should hear ... and the masses are susceptible and vulnerable to modern methods of propaganda.

RE: The Takeover of America
15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.
